His Hungarian surname Élö is of Finno-Ugric origin and means living (person). The respective Finnish word is elävä. Chess arbiter and tournament organizer Master of Arts, University of Helsinki, 1998 Webmaster of Kemi Chess Club I have organized with my colleagues many tournaments at Järvenpää and Kemi, including an International Tournament for School Teams in 1998. I have regularly organized tournaments since 1992.
