14th Heart of Finland Open, Jyväskylä, Finland July 21-25, 2004
Chessclub Jyväs-Shakki organizes 14th Heart of Finland Open chess tournament
in Jyväskylä at July 21-25, 2004. Tournament will be played in 9 rounds
according to Swiss system. Tournament is ELO-rated and there are
possibilities to reach FIDE title norms.

- Confirmation of participation Wed July 21, at 8-10,
Round 1 Wed July 21, at 11-17, Round 2 Wed July 21, at 18-24,
Round 3 Thu July 22, at 10-16 Round 4 Thu July 22, at 17-23
Round 5 Fri July 23, at 10-16, Round 6 Fri July 23, at 17-23
Round 7 Sat July 24, at 10-16, Round 8 Sat July 24, at 17-23
Round 9 Sun July 25, at 10-16, Prize giving ceremony right after final
round.
Note! A player can start the tournament from the 2nd round. In this case
the player receives 1/2 point from the 1st round. Confirmation of
participation for players starting from the 2nd round: Wed July 21, at
15-16.
- Timerate
- 2 hours / 40 moves + 1 hour to finish.
- Entry fees
- GMs and IMs no entry fee (early registration required), FM/U20 50
EUR, ELO-rated players 70 EUR, others 90 EUR.
- Prizes
- Total prize fund approximately 7000 EUR, lots of rating group prizes.
