I play a lot of tournaments all over the world, so I can compare different tournaments with each other. And I can say, that organization of "Heart of Finland" tournament was on the very high level. It was one of the best tournaments I have ever played. The playing conditions are very comfortable, a big playing hall, every player has enough space. In my opinion, it is very important. The games were broadcasted live in Internet. My parents and friends followed the games live in Internet. And they told me, that there had been no problems at all with transmission, and that deserves compliments. Next to the playing hall were 2 computers with free Internet, as well as an analyzing room.

The organizers of the tournament are skilled. All of them speak English, all the announcements before the start of the rounds were made in Finnish and English languages. So, for the foreign participants there are no problems with communication.

The summer hotel where I lived during the tournament was good too, and just few minutes walk from the playing hall.

So, in my mind, "Heart of Finland" is an excellent chess event.
