EtVas is a chess club located in Myyrmäki in Vantaa, that is one of the towns in Helsinki Metropolitan Area. EtVaS has about 70 members, and the club has been for many years one of the strongest clubs in Finland. The playing evenings of the club are Sunday, from 3 pm to 8 pm, and Tuesday, from 6 pm to 10 pm, at Myyrmäki sporting house close to Myyrmäki station. You can get to Myyrmäki by a local M-train in 15 minutes from the center of Helsinki. If you have any questions about the club, please contact etvas@shakki.net.

Club Tournaments

EtVaS organizes yearly some strong tournaments. EtVaS-Cup is the championship tournament of the club, with many of the top players participating. Another yearly tournament is EtVaS weekend tournament every spring. EtVaS organizes also series of club tournaments with 5+5 and 15+15 minute playing times.
